Boksburg U-10 maintain league glory hopes

Boksburg's Matthew Engelbrecht.

Ruiters scored a brace in the second half to keep the junior Blues, who are battling for the number one position on the log with Bonaero, in good stead on the standings.

Half-time score was one all, with the Warriors cancelling out Thami Matshingane’s opener.

Quizzed on the game’s outcome, Boksburg coach Tebogo Madulane said: “Truly speaking, I’m happy with these boys; they’re hungry and they show me they want to play.

“The support given by the parents is also great and helpful for the boys. I definitely see a light at the end of the tunnel.”

The ELFA has five u-10 league divisions, with the Blues playing their football in the fourth. – @SabeloBoksburg
