The Rock to deliver screeching tyres at SA Drift Champs

Tim Stephens drifting his Nissan R33 Skyline at The Rock Raceway.

Drifters from all corners of the country will converge at the venue’s real-estate to rev up their chariot engines for pure ‘sideways driving’.

Drifters are also set to light up their drift car tyres and produce a smoky affair, all for the delight of the patrons who relish the antics of the sideways brigade.

The judges’ skilful circuit layout will test the skill levels of all the drifters as they chase the ultimate prize at victory lane.

Gates open at 10am with practice sessions for drifters. Qualifying starts at the same time. Event proceedings will commence at 4pm.

Fans are encouraged to bring along banners depicting support for their favourite competitors.
