Hijack suspects linked to business robbery

A stolen firearm, which is the property of the SAPS, was found in the vehicle following an operation during which the SAPS searched vehicles, on June 4.

The arrests followed an operation during which the SAPS was searching vehicles in the evening.

A stolen firearm, which is the property of the SAPS, was found in the vehicle.

According to the Boksburg North SAPS communications officer, Capt Juanita Coetzer, further investigation led Det-WO Vusi Tlemo to Sebenza.

“There, he and his team made a further nine arrests,” said Coetzer.

“After the arrest, they followed up further leads and ended up in Chloorkop, where they seized the stolen goods.”
